Dis- The viewer peers through a thin slit in a wooden box. The work creates an inversion between the viewer’s forward bend to experience the work opposed to the backward performed bend in the video; the symmetry between these two actions is the foundation of this piece. A test of endurance for the performer, but also the viewer in their crouched forward position. When the discreet object balancing on the performer's throat is noticed, it is then as though her body becomes another landscape.
